      Zusammenfassend ist die Verarbeitung von Holzfaserweichplatten, insbesondere Steico Flex 036, alles andere als ein Kinderspiel. Bei der Verwendung von Handwerkzeugen wie einem Dämmstoffmesser oder einer Handsäge mit Wellenschliff ist viel Kraftaufwand nötig und das Ergebnis lässt zu wünschen übrig. Die Investition in eine elektrische Säge, wie die von Festool, kann die Arbeit deutlich erleichtern, vorausgesetzt, die Einstellungen sind richtig eingestellt. Die Sägeblätter können recht schnell verschleißen, daher empfiehlt es sich, direkt Ersatzblätter zu besorgen.

      Insgesamt ist die Verarbeitung der Holzfaserweichplatten mühsam und staubig. Es ist ratsam, bei der Arbeit eine gute Schutzmaske und Brille zu tragen, um die Gesundheit nicht zu gefährden. Trotz der Herausforderungen könnte die Festool-Säge eine gute Lösung sein, auch wenn der Preis etwas hoch ist.
