    La SOUDURE M12 SI de Milwaukee a une tension de 12 volts et atteint sa température de fonctionnement en 20 à 30 secondes. Une LED verte clignotante indique que l'appareil est en train de chauffer. Si la LED est allumée (ne clignote pas), le fer à souder à batterie est prêt à être utilisé. Pour éviter les brûlures, l'appareil est également doté d'une LED rouge. Lorsque cette LED est allumée, le fer à souder est éteint, mais la pointe est encore chaude. Grâce à la fonction verrouillable de la tête, une position à 0°, 45° et 90° est facilement possible. Grâce à la fonction de surveillance de la température, la température reste constante pendant le fonctionnement. La lampe de travail intégrée à la pointe assure une bonne vue de la pièce à tout moment. Les pointes à souder sont sans outil et peuvent être échangées en quelques secondes.
