      Product Description:

      The Festool ERSC 18 is a compact 18V cordless one-handed reciprocating saw for general sawing tasks in renovation and demolition work. It enables fast cuts in wood, metal, plastics and abrasive building materials. Thanks to its compact design, the tool sits securely in one hand and can easily reach tight spaces. A powerful EC-TEC motor ensures high torque whilst delivering optimum energy efficiency. The special chuck allows for quick, contact-free saw blade changes. The integrated LED illuminates the work area, whilst a scaffolding hook enables the saw to be hung securely on site. The dust extraction device included in the scope of delivery significantly reduces dust generation. The ERSC 18 is part of the Festool 18V system and is suitable for professional trades applications.

      Akku-Säbelsäge: worauf es ankommt

      Die Säbelsäge ist das Werkzeug für Abbruch, Rückbau und grobe Schnitte in Holz, Metall und Kunststoff. Diese Punkte entscheiden, wie schnell sie durchkommt und wie gut Du sie führst.

      1. Hublänge

        Ein langer Hub räumt mehr Späne pro Hub aus und sägt schneller. Kurze Hübe sind handlicher und ruhiger.

      2. Hubzahl regeln

        Langsam für Metall und zum Ansetzen, schnell für Holz. Stufen oder ein Gasschalter geben Dir die Kontrolle.

      3. Pendelhub

        Schaltbar beschleunigt er Schnitte in Holz und Abbruchmaterial. Für Metall und saubere Schnitte bleibt er aus.

      4. Blattwechsel

        Eine werkzeuglose Aufnahme spart Zeit, wenn Du zwischen Holz-, Metall- und Abbruchblatt wechselst.

      5. Gewicht und Größe

        Kompakte Geräte lassen sich einhändig und über Kopf führen. Große Geräte schaffen dicke Balken und Rohre.

      6. Vibration

        Ein gedämpftes Getriebe und ein verstellbarer Fuß halten die Säge ruhiger und schonen Hände und Arme.

      Wozu das drehbare Sägeblatt?

      Du kannst das Blatt um 180° gedreht einsetzen. So sägst Du laut Festool problemlos bis an Wand, Decke oder Boden heran, zum Beispiel beim bündigen Absägen von Rohren.

      Welche Säbelsägeblätter passen?

      Die ERSC 18 nimmt Säbelsägeblätter mit Universalschaft auf. Für Holz mit Nägeln nimmst Du Bimetall-Blätter, für Metall feinzahnige Blätter, für Baustoffe Hartmetall-Blätter.

      ERSC 18 oder RSC 18?

      Die ERSC 18 ist mit 1,8 kg leicht und kompakt, laut Festool bis 210 mm in Holz. Die RSC 18 hat 32 mm Hub, Pendelhub und 230 mm Schnitttiefe – für schweren Rückbau, dafür mit 4,1 kg deutlich schwerer.

      Säbelsäge oder Stichsäge?

      Die Säbelsäge ist für grobe, kräftige Schnitte in Abbruch, Garten und Rohrleitungsbau gemacht. Für Kurven, Ausschnitte und saubere Kanten in Platten ist eine Stichsäge die bessere Wahl.

      Kann ich bündig an der Wand absägen?

      Ja, mit einem langen, biegsamen Bimetallblatt. Du legst das Blatt flach an die Wand und biegst es leicht – so trennst Du Rohre oder Dübel direkt an der Oberfläche ab.

      Wie säge ich Holz mit Nägeln?

      Nimm ein Abbruch- oder Bimetallblatt, das für Holz mit Metall gekennzeichnet ist. Normale Holzblätter werden an Nägeln schnell stumpf oder brechen Zähne aus.

      Batteries compatibles ?

      Les outils Festool 18 V fonctionnent avec les batteries coulissantes Festool 18 V, par ex. BP 18 Li ou BP 18 TBX. Exception : les batteries Ergo ont leur propre format et ne vont que dans les ponceuses sans fil ETSC 125, DTSC 400 et RTSC 400 – ces ponceuses fonctionnent avec les batteries Ergo. Les outils 2× 18 V nécessitent deux batteries simultanément.

      Que signifie « Basic » ou « Solo » ?

      Basic ou Solo signifie : l’outil seul, généralement en Systainer, sans batterie ni chargeur. Idéal si vous avez déjà des batteries Festool 18 V.
